If you don’t know yet, Valentine’s Day is next week!! This day brings mixed emotions for each of us. Whatever your thoughts on Valentine’s Day, we are all fans of love songs. We have that certain song that makes us feel love. Or that one song that remind us of someone special. Music is a very powerful thing in this world. The making of our valentine month window display…

So we started by making a bunch of origami hearts. It started as a fun little project, a great idea to reuse magazine pages and make a rad looking window display for Vday! To learn how to fold an origami heart, follow these instructions.

When we thought we had folded enough hearts, we taped a heart outline on the floor and started filling it. Only to find we had a HUGE hole in our heart! So we kept folding…and folding…and folding…

Finally, we closed up the gaps in the heart and put this up in our window! Come check it out..we’ll leave it up well past Valentine’s day, it was a lot of work!
