"Amazing cut by Travis at Studio 20. Right in the heart of Wailuku, I was able to experience the meticulous artistry of one of my best cuts to date. Travis studied and styled in LA, working for the likes of Fred Segal and many Hollywood celebs. Don't be intimidated, Travis is sweet, listens to your needs and helps you determine your best style. Be open minded though, you'll be surprised at what he'll come up with. My cut was a "mixed media" rendition of fun, sleek and modern. Compared to other salons, perhaps a little on the higher side but I've learned through the years that a good cut will last way longer than an OK cut."

FRIDAY PAU HANA: HUI NOEAU: Solo Exhibition: Sidney Yee & Kevin Omuro / Scott Groeniger, June 18 – July 23, 2011

"Fabulous show with my Dad, Sidney Yee, Kevin Omuro and Scott Groeniger. If you're interested in culture & society modernized, then you'll love this exhibit. It's a textural feast with colorful yet muted Chinese paint tones, beautiful lines & delicate raku forms and digital art that is beautifully composed — graphically deep in messages. You will see a lot of turnips. Why? Go see the show and you'll learn the deeper meaning. Shout out to Michael Moore who is a huge supporter of the arts and with his generous support, helped make the show possible."
